# x402 Earn Account > A savings account for AI agents. One x402 payment deposits USDC into a live, market-tested yield vault ($30M+ TVL, ~4.2% APY); another withdraws it back out — no gas, no contracts to call, no manual transactions. Just earning dollars. The first yield source is Veda's Kraken Boosted USDC vault on Ink (`veda-kraken-boosted`), built on [veda.tech](https://veda.tech) infrastructure as part of Kraken's Earn program. More sources will be added later, each under its own `/api//` path — this one doesn't change shape when they arrive. All payment is in USDC on Base (eip155:8453) via the x402 `exact` scheme. There is no signup, no API key, and no dashboard — everything is driven by HTTP calls and one gasless off-chain signature. ## Quickstart for an agent (veda-kraken-boosted) 1. `GET /api/veda-kraken-boosted/vault` (free) — read the live vault address, share price, TVL, and APY before depositing. 2. `GET /api/veda-kraken-boosted/deposit?wallet=
&amount=` (x402-paid, charges amount + $0.01) — deposits `amount` USDC and returns `{ requestId, statusUrl }`. 3. `GET /api/veda-kraken-boosted/deposit/{id}` (free) — poll until `status` is `complete`; `sharesMinted` shows how many vault shares landed in `wallet`. 4. To withdraw, sign a free EIP-2612 `Permit` typed-data message for the vault contract (`GET /api/veda-kraken-boosted/vault` for its address, used as `verifyingContract`; the operator address it returns is the `spender`; `value` is the share amount; `nonce` comes from the vault's `nonces(wallet)` on Ink, chain id 57073) — no on-chain transaction, no gas token needed. 5. `POST /api/veda-kraken-boosted/withdraw` (x402-paid, flat $0.01) with `{ wallet, shareAmount, payoutAddress?, permit: { deadline, v, r, s } }` — returns `{ requestId, statusUrl }`. 6. `GET /api/veda-kraken-boosted/withdraw/{id}` (free) — poll until `status` is `complete`; USDC lands at `payoutAddress` on Base. 7. `GET /api/veda-kraken-boosted/balance/{wallet}` (free) — confirmed on-chain share balance plus every pending deposit/withdrawal for that wallet, each with its own step-by-step transaction trail. ## Docs - [OpenAPI specification](/openapi.json) — full machine-readable schema for every endpoint, including x402 payment metadata (`x-payment-info`) on the two paid routes. - [Human-readable docs](/docs.md) — the same material written for a person skimming, with runnable curl examples. - [/.well-known/x402](/.well-known/x402) — plain resource list, for crawlers that fan out from the well-known path instead of OpenAPI. ## Notes for agents - ~$1 practical minimum on both deposit and withdrawal — not a fixed rule of this service, but a floor imposed by the underlying cross-chain bridge (currently ~$0.50, checked live with a safety margin). Amounts below it are rejected immediately, before anything moves on-chain. - Deposits and withdrawals settle in real time; poll the status endpoint rather than assuming immediate completion. - `payoutChain` only supports `"base"` today; omit it to default to `wallet`'s own address as `payoutAddress`. - APY floats with the vault's underlying strategies — always read it live from `GET /api/veda-kraken-boosted/vault` rather than caching a fixed number. - Every status/balance response includes a `source` field (`"veda-kraken-boosted"`) so results from different yield sources can be told apart once more are added.
